Competititon Information
The 21st International Young Musicians Chamber Music Competition will take place March 29-30, 2019, at the concert hall of the Trakya University State Conservatory Education in Art and Performance Center in Edirne. Entry to the Edirne Mimar Sinan Rotary Club International Chamber Music Competition is open to all instrumental chamber music groups, ranging from Duo to Sextet, with or without piano. Groups including voice, or made up of two pianos, are excluded from the Competition (four-hand piano duos are admissible).
Pieces of Music to be Played:
-The Baroque Period
-The Classical Period
-The Romantic Period
-The Contemporary Period
Any pieces of chamber music belonging to the periods stated above is expected to partipicate. The selected piece of chamber music must be at least 15 minutes.
3. The ones who are between 15 and 25 years old can participate. (The chamber groups in which the group members’ average age must be 25 years on March 29, 2019. (Average age is the total of everyone's years divided by the number of group members).
4. Prizers:
- The First: 3000 Turkish Liras
- The Second: 2000 Turkish Liras
- The Third: 750 Turkish Liras
- Honorable Mention
